Sal and I returned to the States on November 3rd in order that Sal could teach at the VA EMS Symposium in Norfolk.  His topic was "EMS Missionaries.....Spreading Hope"  The entire conference was November 8th through the 12th. We went to a wedding on the 18th, our new grandson, Gabriel (Gabe) was dedicated on the 19th and since Sal's parents were here and we were all gathered together, we had our Thanksgiving dinner also that day. Whew...what a whirlwind!!! Our return flight was scheduled for the 20th, but I just couldn't do it!!!  The time home was just too short....So Sal went back to the farm on the 20th to restart the projects he had left, most important of which is the repairing of one of the dams. They are working against the clock to try and accomplish it before rainy season.

Also while in Zambia during this time, Sal and Jha were given slots in a certified, government approved HIV class in Lusaka!  The Director of the Kazangula Health District called Sal herself and worked to get them approved.  The class is 10 days long, so the clinic had to be closed while they are in Lusaka....but this was such an open door and another step toward becoming an ART center!!!

I stayed in the US to spend more time with family, friends and most of all, grandchildren! I was feeling a little selfish about staying back, but I feel like I'm right where I'm supposed to be for now.  I will be returning after Christmas to join him, literally on New Year's Eve!  We will begin a whole new year expectantly waiting to see God's continued vision unfold!!!
